The Kerrygold Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Irish Dairy Board. The Irish Dairy Board was established in 1961 as a commercial co-operative of the Irish Dairy industry and now has a turnover in excess of €2 billion and trades through subsidiaries across Europe and the US, in addition to owning the international Kerrygold brand.

Here in the UK, we work closely over 80 creameries to provide our customers with a full service from a comprehensive cheese range to category and market knowledge and advice. We continue to underpin our expertise and experience in cheese preparation, packing and supply with significant investment, most recently our new £30 million state-of-the art facility, which became fully operational in Spring 2009. This has increased production capacity by up to 50%.

We currently pack over 60,000 tonnes of natural cheese per year and we prepare and supply over 30% of the UK's pre-packed cheese demand. We are renowned for our industry leading service levels consistently exceeding our 99.5% target. In 2008 we were awarded Food Manufacturer Excellence for Dairy.
