To work within our existing Engineering team, covering rotating morning and afternoon shifts

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Manager and as part of a team of Shift Technicians you will be responsible for attending breakdowns throughout the site to diagnose and resolve faults, and for the maintenance of the electrical distribution, PLC programming, pneumatics and Control Systems. You will also assist in the Company’s planned maintenance and continuous improvement programmes, working in liaison with Production, Hygiene and Quality personnel to investigate and correct problems to ensure product quality and maximisation of production efficiency.

You should have completed a recognised apprenticeship and attained qualifications in a relevant Electrical Engineering discipline combined with additional knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, however any engineering experience (whether mechanical or electrical) within the food industry would be a distinct advantage. You should have the ability to work flexibly within a team environment, display excellent communication skills, a good track record of work related achievements and have the ability to establish good working relationships across the manufacturing team.
